The 12-Week Get Ready for Summer Module #2 NUTRITION - Realistic Meal Planning & New Exercise Workouts This is the next 30-day challenge to exercise with consistency and to eat clean for real change in your body. Behaviors and habits have started to become more routine by now. Here are the foundations of my program: Foundation #1 - Balance Exercise with Nutrition. Regular exercise is one side of the fitness equation. The other side is our nutrition. No matter how hard we push ourselves and how consistently we hit the gym, all of that effort doesn't benefit us if we don’t fuel ourselves well. Foundation #2 - Exercise Regularly with Variety Exercise regularly doing strength with weights, cardio with high-intensity training, and mobility/stretching programs. Different disciplines of exercise and variety are important to prevent injuries, maintain mobility to continue feeling good inside and out. Foundation #3 - Eat Intuitively with Nutrition in Mind Eat and enjoy the foods you are used to eating. I don't do meal plans or advocate completely eliminating something you like to each. But, I will guide you toward reducing processed foods, packaged foods, and sugar. The one modification to change your body composition is to eat a diet with high protein and low carbs, unrefined carbohydrates such as whole grains, leafy greens, and healthy fats.
